How to Invite Clients and Users to Review a Website in zipBoard
Follow these simple steps:
For Clients
- Open Your Project
In zipBoard, go to your dashboard and select the project that contains the website you want reviewed.
- Open the Share File Modal
Navigate to the file you wish to share and click the Share button.
- Select Clients
In the Client tab, choose the clients you want to share the file with. Existing clients will appear with their current permissions pre-selected.
- Use the dropdown under the Access tab to select one of the following options:
- All Comments: Default setting where all Collaborator, Client, and Guest Reviewer comments are visible.
- Only External Comments: Restricts visibility to Client and Guest Reviewer comments only.
- Remove Access: Removes a client’s ability to view a previously shared file.
- Save Changes
- Click Share to save your changes. Feedback messages will confirm the success or highlight any errors.
For Users
- Open the file you want to share in zipBoard.
- Click the "Share File" button on the review page.
In the "Share Review with Guest" modal, configure the permissions based on what level of access you want to grant.
✔ View Only – Guests can only see the file but cannot add feedback.
✔ Commenting Enabled – Guests can add comments but not annotations.
✔ Full Feedback Access – Guests can add comments, annotations, and mark changes.
- Copy the generated share link and send it to your guest reviewers.
