The Different Ways to Invite Reviewers to Get Feedback on Digital Assets

zipBoard is a collaboration and project management tool that helps teams to organize and streamline their workflow. One of the key features of zipBoard is the ability to get feedback on content or documents. In order to get valuable feedback from reviewers, it's important to understand what kind of reviewers you can have, and how to invite them in the right way.

Here are the three broad categories in which reviewers fall under

  1. Collaborators
  2. Clients
  3. Guest Collaborators

Collaborators

Collaborators are typically members of your team who need to have greater access to your project beyond simply reviewing. They can upload content into your project, as well assign tasks/be assigned tasks in your project.

Here are different ways to invite Collaborators in zipBoard:

  1. Adding them directly to the project - when you are working on a project, there is a Collaborators section on the left side toolbar. Here you will be able to select Collaborators, and then enter their email address. This is the most common method of inviting Collaborator reviewers to provide feedback. zipBoard allows you to send an email invitation directly from the platform to your Collaborator reviewers. This is an easy and convenient way to invite Collaborator reviewers and get started with the feedback process.

  2. Send them a project share link - you can copy a share link from the same Collaborators section on the left side toolbar when you click on the "Add Client" button. This link can be shared with your reviewers through email, chat or any other communication channel. The reviewers can then access the project as a Collaborator and provide their feedback directly in zipBoard.

Clients

Clients are typically your external stakeholders that need to be in the loop with your project. In zipBoard, they will only be able to see individual uploads that you enable access to, but they will not be able to add any additional uploads to the project. They will have access to comment and annotate on those uploads once given permission, as well as have the ability to send messages to the project team in zipBoard in the event that they want to delegate tasks further.
