How are Guest Collaborators different from Guest Reviewers?
Guests are people you invite to review files through a share link. Guest collaborators use a login-required link and must sign up for zipBoard; guest reviewers use a no-login link and can review the shared file right away. Neither has access to the wider project.
Who are referred to as guests in my zipBoard project?
Everyone you've invited to review your files using a share link is called a Guest. You can see the users for each share link at any time.
What is a guest collaborator?
Anyone who collaborates on your zipBoard project using the login-required share link is a guest collaborator. When invited, guest collaborators need to sign up, and then they can review the file they were invited to.
Collaborators are people invited directly in zipBoard with the Add Collaborator button. They have full access to the project and its assets and can add feedback, comments and annotations throughout the review.
Guest collaborators have a more limited role. They can only review an asset once they've been given a share link. They don't have access to the project interface; the share link takes them straight to the file being reviewed, so they can give feedback on the relevant content without accessing the wider project.
Workflow for guest collaborators

Receive a link from the project manager. Their access and permissions depend on the settings of the share link.

Sign in or sign up to zipBoard. If they already have a zipBoard account, they sign in. If not, they sign up to access the project.

Start reviewing the content. Once logged in, they can review the shared content by adding comments or annotations.

Share feedback with the internal team. All feedback they add is automatically visible to the internal team for further action.
What is a guest reviewer?
Anyone who reviews your zipBoard project using the no-login-required share link is a guest reviewer. Guest reviewers don't need to sign up for zipBoard; they can review the files they're invited to directly.
Guest reviewers don't have access to the project as a whole. They can only access and give feedback on the specific file being reviewed.
Workflow for guest reviewers

Access the shared link. They receive a share link from the project manager. What they see and can do depends on the settings of the share link.

Start the review. Once they open the file, they can add comments, annotations or markups directly on the content.

Feedback is shared with the internal team. All feedback they submit is automatically visible to the internal team for action and follow-up.
