Are My Measurements Saved to My Project?
Yes, but they are not added as an actionable task and will not be added to the task list tab. Every measurement, scale, and count you place is saved directly onto the specific document where you drew it. zipBoard does not currently feature a project-level measurement table or automated bill-of-materials summary.

What This Is Not
What Is Saved Today?
- Document-Level Markup
All your measurement lines, areas, arcs, angles, and count measurement are saved inside your document.
- Scale Presets
Custom scales you create are saved to your dropdown menu for easy reuse.
- Panel History
Each measurement annotation lives in the document side panel, complete with its specific values, comments, and assignee status.
What This Is Not
- No Aggregated Project Tables
zipBoard does not aggregate total linear feet, square footage, or item counts into a single project-wide dashboard table today.
- No CSV/Excel Takeoff Export
Users cannot currently export a consolidated spreadsheet listing all measurements across every file in a project folder.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How can I share my measurements with team members or clients?
Anyone invited to the document, including guest reviewers, can view, click on, and comment on all saved measurement annotations directly in the zipBoard viewer.
Will my saved measurements disappear if I upload a new revision of a document?
No. zipBoard maintains version control so your original document markups remain saved on that version history.
