How to use the Video Recording Tool in zipBoard?
zipBoard now offers the capability to record videos directly within the platform, making collaboration and feedback even more seamless. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to use the video recording feature and manage your recordings effectively.
It is recommended to download the zipBoard extension to use this in all digital assets.
Recording a Video
- Accessing the Recording Option: After entering the review interface, locate the camera icon.
- Selecting Recording Options:
- Click on the record option.
- Choose one of the three recording options:
- Screen
- Screen and Self
- Self
Make sure to select your camera, and mic before recording
- Recording Screen:
If you choose the 'Screen' option, select the specific tab or window you want to record.
Start, pause, stop, or delete your recording as needed.
- Once you've stopped the recording, a new tab will automatically pop up, displaying your recorded video.
You can now review and edit your video directly from this tab.
If you prefer not to access the recorded video immediately after stopping the recording, you can do so later using the toolbar, then click slideshow.
Alternatively, you can access your recorded videos from your project dashboard.
- Navigate to the project where you recorded the video.
- Look for the "Captures" or "Recordings" section within the project interface.
Tips for Screen and Self Recording
- Enabling Camera Access:
For 'Screen and Self' recording, grant access to your camera when prompted.
- Microphone Selection:
- If you want to record your voice, ensure you select your microphone before starting the recording.
- Managing Voice Recording:
- Click on 'Start Recording' after configuring your microphone settings.
