In zipBoard, guest reviewers play a crucial role in providing feedback and insights on projects without needing an account. However, managing their notifications and access can sometimes be challenging. Guest Reviewer Notifications:


  1. Email Notifications:
    • Guest reviewers do not receive email notifications when someone replies to their comments.
    • However, if a guest reviewer inputs their email address in the optional field, they will indeed receive email notifications for replies.


  2. Accessing Replies:
    • Guest reviewers can revisit the shared link to view replies and comments made by clients.
    • Even comments added as tasks and their subsequent replies will be visible on the review board.

Managing Access:


  1. Deleting Shared Links:
    • Deleting the shared link does not immediately revoke access for guest reviewers and collaborators.
    • Even after deletion, guest reviewers and collaborators may still access the link if they have it saved or cached.


  2. Revoking Access:
    • Deleting the guest reviewer from the collaborators tab will revoke their access, this only works if you set up a password.
    • Upon attempting to access the link again, they will be prompted for a password (if set).
    • To ensure complete removal, delete the shared link from the share link section as well.


  3. Permanent Removal:
    • To prevent any further access, ensure both the guest reviewer (if applicable) and the shared link are deleted.


    • Deleting the shared link will redirect users to app.zipboard.co upon attempting to access it again.


Rest assured, removing the guest reviewer from the collaborators tab does not delete their comments; it only prevents them from receiving further notifications.
