Q: Will my old annotations and comments be lost with this update?

No. All existing annotations, comments, and tasks associated with your PDFs are fully compatible with the new viewer.

Q: Is there a file size limit for the new viewer?

While the new framework is significantly more stable with large files, we still recommend keeping individual PDFs under 200MB for the fastest loading and smoothest navigation experience.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the new UI. It looks like the old version.

This is likely due to browser caching.

The Fix: Perform a "Hard Refresh" by pressing Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac). This forces your browser to download the latest version of the zipBoard interface.

The PDF is loading slowly or not at all.

Even with our faster engine, local network conditions or browser extensions can interfere.

The Fix:

Try opening the file in an Incognito/Private window to rule out interference from browser extensions (like ad-blockers).
