Reviewing a PDF
If you haven’t already, upload a PDF.
1. Start reviewing by selecting Files and URLs from the left side menu and selecting Review on the PDF content you want to review.
2. Once the PDF loads in the browser extension, you will be in Browse mode. In Browse, you can scroll through the document without making comments or markups. Once you're ready to start reviewing, toggle to Review.
3. In review, you have the following options.
Comment
Click anywhere on the screen to add a comment. Write your comment and chose if you'd like to add the comment as a task and select Add.
Pencil
Selected the pencil icon then click and drag your cursor to draw. The pencil tool can be used to circle, underline or highlight elements within the content. After you've drawn a comment field will appear, make sure to select Add to save your markup.
Arrow
Click the arrow tool and drag your cursor to the object you want the arrow to point towards. Release your cursor and a comment field will appear, make sure to select Add to save your markup.
Rectangle
Selected the rectangle tool and click where you want the top left corner of your rectangle to be. Hold and drag your cursor to draw the rectangle. Release your cursor and a comment field will appear, make sure to select Add to save your markup.
Highlighter
Select the highlighter tool and click & drag to highlight desired text. Release your cursor and a comment field will appear, make sure to select Add to save your markup. Note: The highlighter tool can only be used on text.
Eraser
The eraser tool is used to remove markups without removing the comment associated with the markup. Navigate to the markup you want to remove in Browse mode then toggle to Review mode. Select the eraser icon and click the markup you want to remove. Note: If you want to remove the comment and the markup, select the dot associated with the comment and click the trash icon.
Screenshot
The screenshot tool can be used to capture the screen you are on. Simply navigate to the screen you want to capture and select the camera icon. This will open a new window where you can see all screenshots for this content and markup the screenshot.
Screen recording
Similar to the screenshot tool, the video tool captures your current screen. Select the video camera icon and manage the settings in the popup menu if desired. Select Start Recording and select share. Once you are done, select stop recording. This will open a window where you can see all the screenshots/videos and markup your video. Slideshow
The slideshow function allows you to see all of your screenshots, screen recordings and comments. You can also markup and add comments in the slideshow view.
4. View All Tasks by selecting the task list icon on the right side of your screen, from here you can navigate to the task in the content by clicking the task.
